Carolyn Robertson is a mastered prepared nurse who for the past twenty-five years has specialized in the care of patients with Diabetes. Carolyn believes that patients should be given the knowledge, the skills and the support that will allow them be active participants in their own care and allows them to lead happy and healthy and active lives. She facilitates that change in an atmosphere that recognizes the uniqueness of the individual and acknowledges the individual’s right to decide. At the present time, Carolyn is on staff at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is the Associate Director of the Mount Sinai Diabetes Center located in New York City. She has extensive experience with Type 1 Diabetes, insulin pumps, and pregnancy. She is certified as a Clinical Specialist by the American Nurses Association and as a Certified Diabetes Educator.
